And really bad eggs

Because trying to be somewhere early enough is really bad idea.
I decided to go to the doctor's and I had very little time, because of my dance class at 5 p.m. But I had enough to get there and go to dance class as well. But I didn't calculated with tramway problems. The traffic colapsed, so I went by foot to next tramstop. The traffic had collapsed, that was what saw. Nothing was happening, actually, just trams weren't moving. So I decided to go through subway and then take tram home. (See, I refused to go to the doctor's.) But in the subway we were told that we can't use tram between Palackého náměstí and Podolská vodárna, but there's a bus coming.
Of course, the bus didn't come, so after 5 minutes, I decided to go by foot. So I went to next station, and the bus was coming. But I didn't get it, afterall I wasn't even trying, because it was *so* full. The next bus was coming, but I refused to even try to get in as well. So I run and walked home by foot.
Isn't it fun to go home 2,5 kilometres in rain?

Actually, I don't know why girls are so interested in horses. I think rabbits and cats are much more cute. Whatever, this is not the point of this post, so here we go: a "mermaid dress". Okay, I know, it's not the best picture, but my friends usually don't take really good pictures of me.

I really should do nothing but sewing. Because I had to damage my brain when I decided to join boys to scare kids in costume. This wasn't the worst part, the worst part is that I don't have a costume. Well, I thought I had, but it was terrible, so I have to resew it completely today, because I need them for Friday, so yay! what a luck I love doing something in stress.

I'm pretty sure I'll love skiing in Alps. But I'm a bit scared and nervous and worried about it now. What if I forget some food, stuff, anything?
Well, I must take a deep breath, calm down and wait a hour and half till I go.
Too nervous - it's just ski-training - but in Les Alpes!

Do not trust your friend to take some photos of you. She won't. So this is the only photo I have. Joy! I really should take better pictures of me, because this photo doesn't really show much.

It's done! Including earrings, including flower into hair. :-)

Beading is done!

Because I spent a big part of the day beading. It doesn't sound that terrible, but I beaded 42 little flowers at bottom hem and it's not still done. I'm happy with me though, because I have to use just about 280 roccailles and I'm done with the beading. I should finish it tomorrow. Just 40 little flowers, that's not TOO much.

I gave up those ribbons hanging down from the belt. There will be just a big bow, it'll be pretty as well.

I should really go offline and make few more flowers. Or better, revise French grammar and vocabulary. And go to bed before midnight.

So, obviously, I need to attach fabric to lining, but the beading is done, yay! :-)


And of course, do the skirt. And buy new blue rocailles, because I had run out of them. I want to have 90 little flowers at bottom hem.
Yes, I know, I'm insane :)

Did I want to have the gold gown done before January 15th? I had just the bodice done that day. Without beading, of course. Which I started yesterday. And as usual, it's not done.
I was skating instead. Just because it's winter and it's freezing. And I still have time to manage.

Finally some progress! The lining is done. It's stiff, it fits and I'm okay how it looks.
It'll be faster to work on the dress itself now. It needs to be done. And then beeded. Not too much work, because I still have time :)

Beading is done. But not the belt. I'm incredibly lazy, I admit :)

I dare to say it, because my back hurts from beading those flowers. The central flower is done and so is one big. So 7 big flowers to go. And lots of small, but they aren't on the belt, which needs to be done right after I finish the beading. So I can manage to have the belt done by Sunday. Sounds great :)

Actually, I can't believe I don't have better pictures of my new shoes. There isn't such a big hole now, I fixed it, but they are at our weekend house now, so I can't take pics.

I hope you had such a wonderful evening as I did. I'd love to hear how everyone found some pretty gift under christmas tree, but that's impossible to hear. So Merry Christmas to everyone :-)

I don't care I'm wearing modern stockings made of synthetic fibres.
I don't care I'm wearing 1860s drawers I've just finished.
I don't care I'm wearing elastic in my hairs, it mustn't be visible.

My shoes aren't perfect, so isn't my hairpiece, but I don't care. Actually, I can't do anything with it now.

...I don't plan to go to bed at 11. Probably I wouldn't be able to do it. Mum helped me with presents, so I was able to sew. So shoes are done! Something positive.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing about dress, but they just need to be hemmed. And mabye beaded. It depends on time.

And I'm wearing 1841 dress tomorrow. Yay, costume!
